Trying to learn to record in game

I downloaded fraps and battledirector but when I type in the command it tells me I have the wrong syntax?

Someone please tell me how to record my pwnage!

the cod4 game is maded for recording..open console and type /record
when ur done with video u type /stoprecord
u find video in activiosn foldet i forgot where...lol..and u format it to avi or whatever

Crap I should have specified I only play bf2. Any idea on that one?

Do you got your own game-server?
This command is for Admins only.

If you want to download your game with battlerecorder
choose a server which has br activated.

After finishing the round you can download the br-file ingame.
THEN use fraps.

when using fraps make sure you hit the hot key in game...im pretty sure its function 9 and it will b saved in the fraps folder
